Theme Parks
PARKILANDIA
Tlf: 952 58 12 86
You can’t miss this colourful amusement park for youngsters. It is located
right in the port at Fuengirola and comprises a maze, trampolines and mini
race track, as well as slides, swings, an electric train, bouncy castle and lots more.

TIVOLI WORLD
Tlf: 952 57 70 16
The Costa del Sol’s biggest amusement park, located in Arroyo de la Miel, just 2 kms from the Benalmádena Costa. There are over two dozen thrilling rides to choose from as well as a tiny tots section, restaurants, bars and a professional calibre programme of concerts mainly by Spanish performers, as well as some ‘lookalike’ stars.
Tivoli even has its own currency - the ‘tivolino’. There is plenty to keep the whole family occupied here…
Recent additions to the park include Tivolilandia and Tivoli Agua; the former is an infant area with 11 rides and other attractions specially adapted for very small children and babies; the latter is a water mountain flume ride which opened last year and has proved very popular.

There are also regular concerts and flamenco shows, and even wild West shows to keep you well entertained. There is also a superb range of restaurants Texan to Russian and Italian.

Fuengirola Zoo
Avda. Camilo José Cela, Fuengirola. 5 minutes from the bus station and train station.
Tel: 952 586 892
Zoos aren’t what they used to be, fortunately. You won’t find miserable animals pacing up and down shoebox cages, clinging to solitary branches or paddling around in sad puddles at Fuengirola’s new, visitor and animal-friendly zoo.

Open daily 10.00 - 20.00, July and August 10.00 - 0100

GIBRALTER
Easily accessible by car – approx. 1-hour drive – and well worth a visit.- this is a fascinating place! The first sight of the rock as you round the corner is impressive and the rock itself is a great day out – even if you decide to remain in the town and wander around the many shops and restaurants. However, most people want to go to see the famous apes that live on top of the rock – and you can do this by chairlift or on a guided taxi tour. We did the taxi tour and found it very informative and good value for money – watch out for the apes though!

If you don’t want to go it alone there are many coach tours which run day trips to the Rock at reasonable prices.
